There’s a lot going on this 11th month of the year. From Election Day on the 5th to Veteran’s Day on the 11th to Thanksgiving Day at the end of the month on the 28th.

Sunday, November 3 Dayllight Savings Time ends and we set our clocks back an hour bringing shorter days and longer nights.

Tuesday, November 5 Election Day is the day citizens go to the polls to elect national and state candidates including president and vice president.

Monday, November 11 Veteran’s Day is a federal holiday in the United States when we honor the military veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Friday, November 15 is the full Beaver Supermoon, our fourth and final Supermoon of the year.

Thursday, November 28 Thanksgiving is an annual national holiday in the United States celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. President Abraham Lincoln declared a national Thanksgiving in November to create a sense of unity during the turmoil of the Civil War in 1863. Today many families associate the holiday with football games and family parties to take advantage of the long weekend; it’s often the busiest weekend of the year for travelers.
