For many of us, the May calendar marks family graduations and friends’ wedding dates to attend. That means finding a gift for a graduate or wedding couple. For an always appreciated gift, consider giving compact binoculars. For a graduate compacts are a good choice. For a couple plan on two because binocs are not easy to share. We all have different eye strengths so it’s inconvenient to readjust binocs as they go from one person to another. Fortunately today these optics are popularly priced with exceptional viewing power. Here’s advice about Choosing Compact Binoculars.

May 5, Monday, Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862. It’s a day of celebration for Mexican culture and heritage, especially in the United States, where many large festivals are held. But it’s not the same as Mexican Independence Day, which is on September 16th.
May 11, Sunday is Mother’s Day a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. The American Mother’s Day was formally established by President Wilson in 1914 after a campaign was launched by an American woman from West Virginia named Anna Jarvis, whose own mother died in May. Mother’s Day has been held every year on the second Sunday of May in many countries.
May 12, Monday is the Full Moon, also known as the “Flower Moon,” and so named for the abundance of flowers blooming during this time of year. It’s also been called the “Planting Moon.”
